PEACE4Europe Project nears Completion: Strengthening Youth Workers as European Peace Educators

As the PEACE project enters its final months ahead of its conclusion in August, partners across Europe are celebrating a shared achievement: a stronger, clearer, and more accessible pathway for integrating peace education into non‑formal learning.

Over the past two years, the consortium has worked to deepen understanding of how peace education principles can be meaningfully adapted to youth work practice. The project set out with a clear ambition — to empower youth workers to recognise their vital role as European peace educators and to equip them with practical tools to bring peace‑building approaches into their daily work with young people.
Through collaborative research, training activities, and co‑created resources, the project has developed a set of innovative methods that help youth workers explore conflict transformation, dialogue, empathy, and active citizenship in non‑formal learning environments. This output is now being shared widely as the consortium moves into its final dissemination phase.

From workshops and multiplier events to digital toolkits and community outreach, partners are committed to ensuring that the project’s results continue to support youth workers long after the official end date. The PEACE project stands as a testament to what can be achieved when organisations come together with a shared belief in the power of young people to shape a more peaceful Europe.
