My Encounter – Engaging Youth through MicroDemocracy Interventions

My Encounter introduces a scalable, youth-driven model that fosters civic engagement and democratic participation of youth, empowering and supporting them to shape their communities through co-creation of microdemocratic interventions with youth workers. It enhances youth work quality and recognition by equipping youth workers with knowledge and practice to support youth, ensuring its long-term sustainability; and raises awareness of youth engagement’s role in building democratic societies.

My Encounter directly engages young people, youth workers and stakeholders in the youth sector by offering: training opportunities; developing digital tools; facilitating microdemocratic community interventions; providing mentor support; promoting examples of good practice; implementing research, campaigns and events to develop sustainable resources, fostering civic engagement and democratic participation of youth.
